See This

No spoilers here other then my endorsement. See it, see it, see it. It is worthy of a spot in the gilded halls of my top ten favorite films of all time.

Hasty! some of you may say, hasty! Nay I say to those sayers. Rare are the films that combine the right portions of the right elements to concoct a paragon optic elixir, and this one is as fine an elixir as they come.

What a great night at the movies.

  2. I will see it! I will! Hoorah! I was hoping it would get your endorsement...I was hoping it would be worth all the hype...maybe I can convince my mom into facing the crowds and going tonight.

  3. I will have a hard time with the person that says "it was OK". I might punch them in the gonads.

  5. I saw this last night. Everything I try to say about it seems...inferior when compared to what it deserves. I will be seeing it again. Best movie I've seen in years.

  8. Val, let us find him and make him pay. So much anger that my ears are forced to release the pressure and steam.

"I [hate him], so much... That... it... it... flam - flames. Flames, on the side of my face, heaving... breath - , heaving breaths. Heaving breath..."

  9. Hahaha, thank you for the Madeline Kahn allusion, Darren. I knew it would be worthwhile checking these comments again! Hahaha...

And yes, I saw the Batman over the weekend and yes, it did change my life. Heath Ledger man....Heath Ledger. Also: huge crush on Commissioner Gordon. Yes indeedy.

  10. Darren, you shouldn't be mad at this guy, you should pity him. He's got all that film school under his belt, and all he's doing with it blogging about movies he'll never be able to make.
And you and I know that blogging doesn't pay those student loan bills.
Film school student loan bills. That's a painful proposition. Because everytime those envelopes come it's like they're reminding you that if you were more talented, you'd be able to pay this off.

I going to see it again for the 3rd time, tonight. I'm kinda a dork though.

  12. This movie should get a rousing Huzzah from Planet Earth.

I plan on seeing this movie a few more times before it leaves theaters. We have an IMAX here and I want to check it out there before it leaves.

Heath Ledger just cemented himself as awesome forever.

  13. Mr. Mayhem, seeing it at an IMAX is surreal. And with how much money it's raking in I'd say the world is giving it a rousting huzzah.
